The Arden Tree

Here is the old Arden Tree, where there is pack meetings, and where we gather at Nightfall. We can sleep lazily among the large trees or on the hill in the warm sun. The Dominants usually lay on the large rock and that is where they give speeches. Some times deer and elk roam in the plain in front of the large tree, but there is also a large lake before the plains, where we may swim or drink water there.

"Pretty good." I said, and laid down.

I trotted around, showing no expression, my eyes looking forward.

I pricked my ears, and spotted a pup wondering I stood up and watched it alert.

I saw a wolf, stopped by a small water puddle, took a drink. I sat up turned my head looking around my eyes looking up at the sky above him (like my profile pic)

I twitched my ears, "Are you lost pup?" I asked.

(Yes very nice)

I looked down, and nodded "Yeah...I ran away.." I looked down "I want to find a place to call home, it that's fine with whoever is in charge."

I nodded. "I'm Shattered, a Guard of this pack." I said. "What's your name?"

I padded out of my den and sniffed the air. "Shattered and...." I dropped off as I went to go find Shattered.

I looked forward and saw a female, then looked back at Shattered, "Reicher, or Reich"

I padded out of the brush and looked at the little pup and Shattered. "Hello"

I looked into the female's eyes and saw trust "Hey..I'm Reicher" I began wagging my tail

I saw the pup get playful. "I'm Haru!" I said happily.

I smiled "Wanna play?"

I got into a playful pose and looked at Reicher.

I leaped up near her face and poked her with my paw

I yawned and laid down, licking my black paws.

Slowly emerging from the woods, I hesitated at the line of the territory. New scents of many wolves came from this land, making me cautious as I paced and sniffed at the wind. Should I enter, or leave?

I sniffed the air, and stood up growling lowly as I smelt and outsider scent.

I decided to come back later, for my own safety. Brushing my face and shoulders against a near by tree, I sniffed the bark once to make sure my scent was placed. Confident, I trotted into the forest.

I sniffed the air, again smelling the scent leaving I laid down on my side falling asleep.
