The Old Arden Tree

I jump onto the large rock. "Do you want a detour or not?"

I nodded briskly, "Sure,"

I sniffed the rock briefly, scenting an Alpha.

Sniffing the air, Hassun sighed in the scent of a elk, but ignored it. Circling around, he looked up to the sky and sat down, shaking his head.

I go to the large tree. "This tree is super important. Without it, we would be mostly lost."

I looked up and downt he tree, "What is it called?"

Keeping a low profile, he stood and wandered in the woods, crunching dry leaves and twigs under his massive paws.

I saw Hassun walk off and I followed him

" Want something? " He said, not meaning to be harsh.
As he kept walking, birds flew to the skies from all his loud paws.

With a sigh, he turned and ran off the territory swiftly.

I circled it, "Arden tree," I repeated softly.

I laughed lightly at the small bird, smiling as I saw him try to get it off.

I flatten my ears, then sit down, "How long have you been in this pack?"

Yawning, he rounded the corner and came back on the territory.
' Nobody is on their way here...' he thought, sitting on-top of the hill.

I thought a moment, "That's a long time," I said, counting.

Stepping out of the woods, he saw Kyana and Pure. Flicking his tail and shaking out his coat, he sat down, staying away.

"I wonder if I will ever get a rank at all," I said softly, not meaning to say my thoughts aloud.

"I'm sure you will get a rank..." I said after hearing her say something.
