The Old Arden Tree

I tore more feathers off, and accidentally swallowed one. I jumped up, feeling it tickle the back of my throat. I cough and shook my head, i hacked loudly until it came out. I chuckled at myself and continued tearing off feathers more carefully.

I decided it was stripped enough to eat. I ate it in a few bites, when i was done, i licked my lips clean of the blood.

I yawned and padded near the river and laid down, resting my head on my paws sighing. I fell into a light sleep.

I shifted in my sleep slightly, rolling on my side.

I twitched as i heard a cough and opened my eyes. I look around and walk to Pure slowly
"Pure?" i said.

I stiffen my tail and muscles. "Hm..?"

I lower my tail, and pricked my ears
"are you ok?" i asked looked him over.

I tilted my head
"what happened? Do you need water?" i asked wanting to help.

I looked at him, then looked around
"perhaps you should eat something else bad, or that makes you sick, so then you can get sick and have both things out of your system" i said thoughtfully.

my ear twitched
"yes, that would be good then in this case" i chuckled.

I step back to give Pure some space, I sit down and curl my tail around my paws.

I paced back and forth.

I noticed Haru
"hey!" i wagged my tail.

I heard Claw. "Hello!" I said quickly trotting over to her.

I got up and lolled my tongue, wagging my tail
"i havent seen you in a while i think" i said.
