The Old Arden Tree

This wasn't shocking news, Hassun never meet Snow Blaze. But the stories are well told to him, about the trouble and madness.
The new male, Silence, was directly above Hassun while he hid.
' This new wolf...Silence...how can he not have the same maddness of his father? Is it possible? '

I sighed and let out a breath as Blaze leaped up the rocks to me. He nudged me and then looked into my purple-blue eyes. "We have matters to discuss.....later." He said quietly to me, so only I could hear him and he flashed a grin and leaped down the rocks. I sighed and turned my head, seeing two wolf eyes. I blinked and sat up, letting out a soft woof.

His golden eyes blazed at Silence, feeling disconnected from the ground he stood on.
" You smell like change. " He said, the last word mixing with a growl, hackles shivering to raise as he shrunk back into the shadows.

I stared at the wolf but didn't budge, my fur bristled and my lips slowly pealed back, showing my large teeth. I growled and glared but then sighed and shook my head, my fur settling. I stood up and padded away from the bushes.

I loped away and stared up into the fading blue sky, night was once again coming and I stopped. I was tired of running, so I just huffed and padded back I sat down and sighed, staring at my paws.

Common behavior for Hassun, to be rude and blocked off with a newcomer, but it didn't matter now because he probably got on Silence's bad side.
Picking an open area to rest, he yawned and lied down, closing eyes his and falling asleep.

I shifted my paws as Blaze came to me, he nudged me and then looked around and loped into the forest. I glanced around and then loped after him, seeing that he wanted to talk to me now.

We were a fair distance away, out of any earshot of the others, and we came to an opening, with a rock circle. Blaze leaped upon one and faced me, I sat down in front of him and he let out a breath.

"I do not believe myself, that I should lead this pack. I have left it and came back to many times...and well coming back, I don't know if it was the greatest idea." He said softly, and I shuffled my paws. He looked at me, seriously. I blinked up at him and I waited. He continued.

"Well, it will hurt again if I leave, and well I think it still hurts if I am still leader." He said and nodded slowly.


"So...?" I asked and he snorted. "You have the stubbornness of your mother." he muttered and I glared slightly but stopped and huffed.

"Sooo, I want you to take over the pack, take them somewhere else, lead them, put the past, the memories, bad memories, and the pain away, and go far from the lands that were once the lands of the Blazing Flame Pack, lead them, change the packs name, anything to get rid of the bad memories or so fourth." He said, a growl rising in his throat. "They left, and others followed them, and I am mad about that, so I want to live the life of just a lone, I will visit, and you, you become a legend like I did, my nephew." He said, staring at me as I stared at him blankly.

"Your kidding, right?" He asked, "My father was mad! I will never become a legend!" I said pain filling my eyes.

"But you will! Forget your father, he was never my favorite, he made mistakes and yes he went mad, that does not mean you will. Now go, speak none of this until I say so." He snapped and I shakily got up and padded back to the Arden tree, my legs trembling as my uncle followed me.

I woke again 'argh i must of dozed off..." i thought and looked around, seeing mostly everyone asleep, and silence gone. I smelled that Blaze and him went off somewhere, i decided to let them be.

I loped away from the trees and then I came to the Arden tree I was muttering to myself as I saw the brown wolf awaken and I went to her. "Hi. I never caught your name." I said and sat down.

I looked up at Silence
"oh, I'm called Claw" i said.

I nodded. "Nice to meet you Claw." I smiled and then sat up and turned, going to the rocks and sniffing around there, my tail swishing about after me.

"yeah..." I mumbled and followed slowly "did you see Blaze? His scent is near, i was wondering where he is or if hes ok" i said slowly.

I turned my head and perked my ears. "Yup, hes fine, hes coming here actually, I was just...um talking with him." I nodded my head and continued sniffing about the rocks, finding mice and chasing them until I gobbled them up.

"hmm, ok" i barked and turned to wait.

I gobbled up a mouse as Blaze came through the trees he barked to announce that he was here and sat under the Arden Tree.

I glanced over at the gray wolf and walked over. "Hello. I am Blazing Sun, the dominant male of this pack." I said.

I saw Blaze and trotted over to him lightly and paused in near them.
"Hiya Blaze" i greeted.
